Instruction to Presenters
Oral Presentation
Except for keynote talks, each oral presentation is 15 minutes long (12 min for presentation and 3 min for discussion). MS Power Point files in the version of 2010 and older are only acceptable. Only Windows PCs are prepared in conference rooms by the organizing committee, but no Macintosh PCs are (different from the note in the second circular). Any oral presenter is requested to send his (or her) file by uploading it through website by May 5 (Sat) due to the reasons below.
We have updated the latest program on the Geoparks 2012 official website. There are some amendments on the schedule. Please check it for your reference.

1) What to upload: Whole data(s) of your oral presentation
2) Style of uploading:
- Please put your program number, Last name & version of your power-point for your file name.
[e.g., In case your program number is 4-O-03, Name is TANAKA & version is "2003",your file name is going to be "4-O-03_Tanaka_2003.ppt"]
- If your file including animation, please put your program number, Last name & file name for your movie file.
[e.g., your movie file will be "4-O-03_Tanaka_movie1.mp4", "4-O-03_Tanaka_movie2.mp4", and so on]

In case you have any revision on the uploaded documents, we will accept replacement of file at the Internet/Ready room. Please refer to the following registration time schedule.

Of course, if no amendments are required from the uploaded one, you donft have to submit your documents at the Internet/Ready room. However, to reconfirm your arrival at the conference venue and to let you check the operation environment of your data, all contributors are requested to visit the Internet/Ready room once on the day before the presentation.
Poster Presentation
All posters will be on display in the main hall of the Shimabara Fukko Arena and core time of about 60 min will be scheduled for authors' explanations in front of the posters. No oral explanations of posters will be scheduled in the conference rooms. Poster size is restricted to 90 cm wide x 180 cm high. Presenters are encouraged to prepare poster copies as handouts.
There are several slots in the program for additional oral presentations. Anybody, who wants to give a talk of your poster in addition, is recommended to bring the Power Point file with you and contact the conference office beforehand.
